Menstruation: What To Expect | English

Your first period is coming — and no, you don’t need a survival kit. You just need the right information. 🩸📋
Puberty brings a lot of changes, and for anyone with a uterus, one of the biggest is getting your period. It usually starts between ages 8 and 13, but everyone’s body has its own schedule.
This video explains how the menstrual cycle actually works — from ovulation to the shedding of the uterine lining. It also covers PMS symptoms like cramps, mood changes, bloating, and tiredness, and what you can do about them.

Here’s the thing — some people get cramps, some don’t. Some have heavy flows, some don’t. There’s no “one way” to experience a period. All of it is normal.
Getting your period is not the end of the world. It’s a sign that your body is growing exactly as it should. 💛
