Opportunities to Advance Measurement of Adolescent Wellbeing

This article examines the need for stronger, more comprehensive data to guide adolescent well-being interventions and policies. It introduces the Adolescent Wellbeing Framework, which covers five key domains: good health, connectedness, safety, learning, and agency. Current measurement tools are described as fragmented and inconsistent, often focusing on narrow aspects of well-being. The article calls for an inclusive approach that combines subjective and objective indicators and reflects the experiences of diverse adolescent populations.
