Sad and Happy: Feelings Happen | English

One minute you’re laughing. The next you want to cry. Sound familiar? You’re not losing it — you’re growing up. 💛🧠
During puberty, your body produces new chemicals called hormones. These hormones do a lot of good things, but they can also send your emotions on a rollercoaster. Happy one moment, angry or sad the next – for no reason at all. And that’s completely normal.
But here’s the important part — if you’ve been feeling very sad, tired, hopeless, or anxious for more than a week or two, that could be a sign of depression. And depression is nothing to be embarrassed about. It can affect anyone, anywhere, no matter who they are.
If that’s you, please talk to someone — a parent, teacher, counsellor, or any adult you trust. You are not alone. Ever. 💛
