This storybook is about a 12-year-old girl named Ada who is offered a beautiful necklace by a market stall owner, Mr. Felix, but with strings attached – she has to visit him after school and keep it a secret. Ada’s instincts raise red flags, and she confides in her friend Kemi and later her mother, learning about the importance of trusting her feelings and seeking help from trusted adults. With the support of her mother and school counselor, Mrs. Okoro, Ada finds the courage to prioritize her safety and well-being, realizing that her own strength and voice are her most valuable assets.
